Salary:

Prolium is the leader in above ground storage tank maintenance in Canada. When it comes to storage tanks, we do it all from minor repairs and modifications to major tank upgrades. We are currently seeking a Lead Hand personnel who are located in the Edmonton area and are willing to work throughout Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure operational efficiency.
• Participate in all daily toolboxes and safety meetings
• Collaborate with the team to address and resolve operational challenges and technical issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clean and as free certifications, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Uphold and promote a culture of safety, ensuring that safety protocols and guidelines are rigorously adhered to by all team members.
• Oversee routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, coordinating with maintenance personnel as needed.
  
• Adhere to stringent safety protocols and guidelines.
• Operate equipment efficiently to meet project requirements.

Keys to Success:

• Punctual attendance is a requirement
• Strong Communication skills; must be fluent in speaking/writing English
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & Alcohol Test
• Comply with all safety requirements
• Must provide proof of completion of all required safety certifications
• Bring a positive, ‘can-do', ‘safety first' attitude every day
• Participate with the team to build and maintain a productive and safe work environment.
• Previous experience in above ground storage tank operation is advantageous.

Safety Ticket Requirements:

• H2S Alive or Awareness
• Confined Space Entry and Monitor or Rescue
• CSTS 2020
• WHMIS 2015
• Fall Protection (an asset)
• Standard First Aid
• Class 5 Driver's License
