Position Summery:
Purchasing Managers responsible for ensuring all materials are ordered, progress meetings, reports, and audits. This role ensures budget compliance, timely documentation, and seamless ordering. Key tasks include
managing purchasers, audits, and supporting Project Managers/QCs. Efficiency and organization are vital, as is
maintaining document repositories. This role plays a crucial part in project success.
Role and Expectations:
● Purchasing of materials for all current and upcoming jobs
● Host weekly progress meetings
● Complete ongoing report for QCs/PMs
● Daily Audit of POs
● Weekly work request audit (Kitchens/Bathrooms)
● Audit purchasing report - Basements
● Alert OM/DM of any issues related to scope/trades price list
● Ensure each project is in budget
● Ensure fixture sheet is received within 48 hrs of TWT
● Ensure Kitchen approvals are received within 48 hrs of receiving fixture sheet (kitchens)
● Ensure Job Scope is created within 48 hrs of TWT (Basements)
● Ensure all Fixture sheets and drawings have necessary information needed to create work request/POs
● Create work requests based off of quote/design/Fixture sheet (Kitchens/Bathrooms)
● Create POs once WR is signed by trade (Kitchens/Bathrooms)
● Create POs based on the job scope - Basements
● Assist PMs with ordering additional materials (RFPO)
● Upload documents to google drive.
Skills/Requirements
1. 5+ Years Purchasing Experience
2. 2+ Management Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
College or University Degree
