About The Role
Bosa Properties is looking for an Assistant Community Manager to join our team of talented real estate professionals. Reporting to the Residential Property Manager, this individual will have a unique opportunity to create a vibrant and exceptional resident experience at our building in Surrey. The Assistant Community Manager plays a critical role in contributing to the success of our community, assisting with day-to-day operations, resident engagement initiatives, team management, and financial administration.
What You'll Do
9 Months prior to launch until building occupancy:
- Schedule and complete suite pre-inspections, inspections.
- Offer solutions to best meet customer needs, according to company standards;
- Maintain adequate stock of supplies, equipment, parts, and materials needed to complete warranty work orders and keep track of inventory;
- Collaborate with the Customer Care Team to communicate service item status, prioritization, and timing to complete requested warranty work;
- Evaluate warranty reports and coordinate necessary repairs with trade contractors as needed;
- Liaise with Axiom Builders' team to resolve complex issues or escalate concerns on timely resolution from suppliers and trades;
- Help support with urgent situations on-site, in close coordination with the Bosa Properties property management teams.
Post-Occupancy:
- Act as a first point of contact for resident inquiries, addressing their needs and facilitating communication with management;
- Assist in organizing resident events, programs, and activities to encourage community engagement;
- Provide support with leasing through managing inquiries, maintaining suite availability, conducting showings, reporting and facilitating move-ins and outs;
- Maintain resident records, lease agreements and relevant documentation;
- Contribute to preparing and monitoring the annual budget, rent collections, processing invoices and maintaining financial records;
- Collaborate with maintenance team and external partners to promptly address resident maintenance requests and building repairs.
What You Bring
- Two (2) + years of customer service experience;
- Understanding of building technology and typical building maintenance procedures;
- A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and contribute to the success of the community;
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, team members and external partners;
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple priorities in parallel;
- Ability to work on the weekend and/or a holiday as required with month-end tasks, (with time off in lieu);
- Experience in property management or working for a developer will be considered an asset;
- The ability to self-perform home repairs with a high degree of quality and efficiency will be considered an asset;
- Experience with a property management software (Yardi preferred) will be considered an asset.
Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.
