One of our automotive clients is looking for a Robotic Weld Tech for their operations in Markham, ON region.
Shift - Afternoon
Pay - $35-$40/hr
Responsibilties:
Diagnose, repair, and adjust robots (Fanuc & Motoman) and weld controllers using PLCs and HMIs.
Assist with equipment, component, and tooling changeovers.
Provide support to the production team for seamless operations, including setup, tool changes, and troubleshooting.
Modify welding schedules for MIG, Projection, and Spot welding on Medar, Lincoln, and Fronius weld controllers.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained to produce high-quality parts.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with IATF16949 standards.
Basic Requirements:
A post-secondary diploma in Robotic Welding, Electro-Mechanical, or Automation from a technical college.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience.
Certified professionals (e.g., Electrician, Millwright, Machinist) are an asset.
Experience in Robotic MIG, Projection, and Spot welding.
Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Motoman & Fanuc robots and Allen Bradley PLCs.
Capable of working independently and managing tasks effectively.
