About the Role:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating general legal, financial and/or securities translation projects and ensuring that these projects are completed within specified timelines while maintaining superb quality standards. It is a position requiring excellent organizational skills as well as high-level customer care.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and assisting with the entire project cycle, including project setup, coordination with the client, matching and coordination of translators and other linguists and graphic design through to delivery

  • Coordinating and tracking project pricing, profit margins and budgets

  • Responding to and providing solutions for client queries and requests before, during and after completion of projects (in coordination with the project manager)

  • Improving customer service, efficiency and relationships with resources

  • Continual product improvement through the management of client translation memories, glossaries and/or guidelines, and monitoring linguistic team performance to ensure quality and consistency

  • Coordination with our Translations AI development team to help our technical developments in the field of translations AI.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in translation or related field

  • 2-3 years of previous work experience as a project coordinator within the translation industry

  • Fluent (excellent written and spoken skills) in English and French

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and Google Work applications

  • Superb planning and organizational skills with the ability to multitask

  • Excellent communication/customer service skills

  • Great attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment

  • Strong sense of personal responsibility for projects and responsibilities

  • Tech-savvy (passionate about technology and implementing it to the translation world)

  • Experience with translation management software and translation memory software (Plunet / Memsource)

Hours of Work

  • 10:00 am – 6:30 pm Monday to Friday EST (Eastern Standard Time - Eastern North America)

  • Remote
