This is where you come in. We're looking for an analytical and collaborative Manager, Demand Planning to lead demand forecasting for our dynamic product portfolio.

This role is essential for optimizing product availability while ensuring efficient inventory management and turns. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Category Management, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain, to maintain the right product mix across our distribution channels, meeting both customer demand and business goals.
You bring a deep understanding of forecasting and demand planning, with a strong foundation in merchandising planning and inventory management. You will also be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performance team, fostering an environment of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Supply Chain Planning team is around 15 members and growing. As a Demand Planning Manager, you will be reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Planning, and have 3 direct reports. You will be responsible for leading the charge on all demand planning within your dedicated team.
We are a hybrid team - you'll be required to be in our Vancouver, BC office 3 days per week of your choosing.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead a high-performance team to develop, maintain, and manage demand forecasts for over 2500+ SKUs, considering historical sales, promotional plans, seasonality, and new product launches.
  • Regularly update models to reflect the latest trends and market shifts.
  • Monitor and improve Forecasting and key planning KPIs, ensuring continuous alignment with business goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing demand planning team.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment while holding team members accountable for achieving KPIs.
  • Take ownership of demand planning in the S&OP process, lead discussions with key stakeholders to align demand plans with broader company initiatives and ensure product availability.
  • Lead projects to enhance internal demand planning processes, tools, and systems, contributing to broader supply chain effectiveness and higher team performance.

Who You Are:
  • 3+ years of strong leadership and team-building skills with experience in leading and developing high-performance teams.
  • Ability to inspire and guide team members while creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to synthesize data and identify actionable trends.
  • Proficiency in statistical forecasting techniques and data analysis tools, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Category Management, Marketing, Sales, and Finance, to drive forecast alignment and business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience with demand planning software and ERP systems.
  • Strong decision-making skills grounded in data and analysis, with confidence in presenting findings to leadership teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term planning with short-term adjustments to meet market and business needs.
  • Must be familiar with S&OP and Open-to-Buy (OTB) processes.
  • Hands-on experience with demand planning software, ERP systems, and other forecasting tools.
  • A strong background in merchandising planning.
  • Legally able to work in Canada.
  • Completion of criminal background check.

The expected salary is $110,000 to $142,000. The actual base pay can increase beyond this range and will be based on various factors, including transferable skills, training and certifications, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
