Salary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team in achieving and exceeding their monthly booked sales targets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring the sales team, ensuring effective client communication, maintaining HubSpot CRM, and developing strategic plans to penetrate school divisions within our territory. The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a high-performance sales environment and driving business growth.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve their monthly booked sales targets.
  • Actively accompany sales representatives to close large deals and provide hands-on support.
  • Oversee and ensure the follow-up process is consistently carried out by each sales rep.
  • Foster and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and timely follow-ups.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing accurate information to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain and update the HubSpot CRM system, ensuring accuracy and currency of client information and data.
  • Conduct daily reviews of tasks and ensure the CRM system supports sales operations effectively.
  • Develop and enhance the sales team's capabilities to consistently exceed sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing positive and constructive feedback to each sales rep.
  • Identify and remove obstacles that impede the team's success.
  • Design and implement strategies to penetrate each school division within the designated territory.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development (BD) team to ensure comprehensive territory coverage in each school division.
  • Execute strategic plans as part of the company's broader sales strategy.
  • Responsible for traveling to appointments and client locations

Education, Certifications and Licenses: Highschool Diploma.

  • High School Diploma required; Business Administration Degree or Diploma preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales management or a related role.
  • Proven experience and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on client engagement.
  • Proficiency in using HubSpot CRM or similar sales management software.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and a strong work ethic.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extreme attention to detail with a high value on accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce and Financial Force or other accounting software is an asset.
  • Proactive, punctual, and reliable.
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work well with all types of people and build strong relationships with peers and clients.
