Technologist, Toxicology
Our Toxicology department is growing and diversifying our assay portfolio. Currently, we have openings for laboratory technologists.
Primary activities of the job:
- Responsible for performing assigned routine standard testing within a team environment in accordance with existing SOPs (bacterial assay, cell culture-based assays).
- Act as a back up for tests where applicable and as required.
- Participates in special projects, experiments or assays as required (e.g. method comparison. assay harmonization, new assay development).
- Record study parameters as required by protocol.
- Responsible for test reagent maintenance, inventory and supply. Ensuring reagent supplies are replenished in a timely manner to avoid testing delays.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate completion and verification of related documents to ensure on time delivery of test results. (e.g. data in LIMS, worksheets, log books, test requisitions, verification of calculations for accuracy, verification of entries and transcription of data, review of electronic data including audit trails, as applicable).
- Responsible for identifying and notifying Team Lead/Supervisor of any laboratory non-conformances. Report non-conformances as required, provides required support documentation to expedite closures of events.
- Participate in root cause analysis to identify appropriate corrective actions for CAPA and events.
- Ensures compliance is maintained in all daily activities by following SOPs (divisional, department & test), protocols and procedures as they apply.
- Ensure raw data records are accurate, complete, and in appropriate order, and meet protocol specifications and/or GMP requirements.
- Attend and participate in departmental/team meetings as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years Bachelor's degree (Immunology, Cell biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry)
- Minimum (12) months of previous relevant work experience, preferred
- Standard & Advanced Cell Culture techniques
- Aseptic Techniques
- Microsoft office suite knowledge
Hours of Work:
- Rotating shifts (Days and Afternoons). Monday to Friday shift
