Have you been working in an agricultural service or parts department for over five years? Can you diagnose equipment problems using a computer or over the phone to provide support for repair? Do you want to grow your career by working with some of the most technologically advanced agricultural machines? Are you looking to share your knowledge by training others?

Using your background knowledge of agriculture equipment, you are a centralized resource to assist the Service team to diagnose complex problems and create a consolidated database to communicate best practices. You actively monitor machine dashboard alerts to conduct preliminary investigations into machine problems. You continue to stay up to date on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment and share your knowledge to train others. This is a newly created position that will evolve over time. Position can be based at any one of our five locations.

  • Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.

  • Can obtain a valid passport to travel to the United States.
  • Understand agriculture and the challenges facing Service Technicians.

For you to be selected for an interview you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Service or Parts department operations with practical experience performing repairs on agriculture equipment; demonstrated experience consistently meeting performance metrics. Agriculture dealership experience required.
  • Completed a certified trade such as Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic or similar. John Deere certified a strong asset, or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint, Teams and other MS 365 tools; experience using Service ADVISOR™, Parts ADVISOR™, or other computer based diagnostic repair tools
  • Experience with the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction, lawn, and heavy equipment
  • Valid driver's license required; license for shop and yard equipment to train others
