We are actively seeking experienced Carpenter Foremen/Forewomen to join our clients dynamic team, specializing in both Commercial and Residential projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of ongoing projects and contribute to our clients growing success.
Job Duties:

  • Build structures according to detailed plans and drawings.

  • Assist in the development and refinement of building plans.

  • Select and utilize appropriate materials and tools for various projects.

  • Apply carpentry techniques including measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials as per project specifications.

  • Maintain and update inventory records as required.

  • Adhere to all health and safety standards, promoting occupational health and safety on site.

  • Perform daily inspections, maintain equipment, and ensure work areas are clean and organized.

  • Willingness to be trained on new equipment and techniques.

  • Mentor junior employees to develop their skills and knowledge.

  • Effectively communicate with the crew foreman and/or site supervisor.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project success.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience in a construction (Residential or Commercial) environment.

  • Post-secondary education or carpentry trade certificate from a recognized program preferred; apprentices considered.

  • Competent in the use and maintenance of related tools and equipment.

  • Knowledge of building regulations and codes is an asset.

  • Mechanically inclined with problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong knowledge of working in a safety-sensitive environment.

  • Ability to lift, pull, and push 50+ lbs regularly; climb ladders; operate heavy machinery; stand for long periods; perform repetitive work.

  • Positive, motivated, and hardworking with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Willingness to work overtime as required during peak seasons.
