Timberwolf Environmental is looking for reliable, experienced and hardworking Equipment Operators who have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards safety. This full-time position requires a flexible approach to shifts, with the possibility of occasional weekend work, and ability to work 12 hour shifts when required. The successful candidate will operate various equipment including backhoes, dozers and excavators efficiently and safely, contributing to our commitment to quality and innovative solutions.

We specialize in secondary containment systems and we also offer lease-site maintenance, vegetation control, mowing, lease clean-ups, dewatering, lease/well site abandonments, reclamation, trucking, bobcat services and erosion control.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating heavy equipment such as backhoes, dozers and excavators
  • Performing regular maintenance, minor repairs and pre-trip inspections on equipment
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and refilling equipment daily
  • Safety and maintenance: Performing daily safety checks, maintaining the equipment in good working order, and ensuring safe operation to prevent harm or damage.
  • Reading and interpreting plans: Understanding site plans, construction drawings, and grade stakes
  • Communication and coordination: Collaborating with construction crew members to safely perform work tasks.

Requirements:

  • 5 years proven experience in operating heavy equipment.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license, with an acceptable driver's abstract (3 year) and reliable transportation
  • H2S Alive, Standard First-Aid and Common Safety Orientation are required
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and environmental compliance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, collaborating effectively with coworkers and management
  • Mechanical skills: Understanding how all equipment and its components work.
  • Flexibility to accommodate shifting schedules and work requirements, including some weekends.
