Pacific Centre for Reproductive Medicine (Pacific Fertility) is hiring a full time Nurse LPN role located at our Burnaby location. This role works primarily Monday to Friday, with rotating weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Performs and documents comprehensive assessments of patient needs.
• Responsible for OR inventory maintenance and ordering.
• Administers medications as per nursing care policies.
• Provides ongoing patient/family education.
• Serves as contact person for IVF and Reproductive Endocrinology patients.
  • Demonstrates professional competency in accordance with established clinical standards in assisting physicians for procedures, biopsies, cultures, and ultrasounds.
  • Answers questions accurately with patients have procedural problems with hormonal therapy and fertility treatments like IVF and ovulation induction.
  • Instruct patients and partners in the Operating Room during egg retrievals and endoscopic gynecologic procedures.

Qualifications:

• Licensed LPN in relevant province through the relevant Provincial regulatory college
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse-LPN, or related position.
• Valid BLS Certification
• Experience working in an women's health or reproductive environment is an asset.
• Must be fully vaccinated.
