Purpose of the Role:

As the Quality Assurance Specialist, you will focus on providing wide-ranging support to the quality function, promoting and integrating Quality and a Lean culture into every aspect of our business. In this role, you will assist in developing, implementing, and managing the company's Quality Program, ensuring it conforms to internal, customer, ISO/other standards, regulatory, and legal requirements. You will apply the skills and experience to manage a strong quality infrastructure, focusing on building the quality management system from scratch that will support the business vision.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You have at least 3-4 years of relevant experience in document management systems or quality programs or any related fields.
  • You have advanced knowledge of quality tools and general business processes used in product engineering, manufacturing and construction environments.
  • You have excellent understanding of all aspects of Process Flow Mapping, Quality Tools and Lean principles.
  • You have advanced knowledge in SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Dynamics 365, Visio and other flowcharting tools.
  • You have an undergraduate degree in a related field.

What Success looks like in this role:

  • You will work with the Director of Enterprise Quality on implementing and maintaining the Svante Quality Management System, including the quality manuals, quality systems procedures, standard operating procedures, and related documents, in accordance with ISO and other regulatory bodies' requirements and standards.
  • You will contribute to the development and implementation of best practice Quality strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to support and improve operational performance.
  • You will manage nonconformities raised from certification bodies, customers or suppliers during audits that are effectively corrected and independently verified.
  • You will support all internal audit programs to ensure the functioning of the established quality management system.
  • You will be responsible for administering the Enterprise Document Management System and supporting cross-functional teams with their documentation, such as policies, procedures, and other controlled documents.
  • You will monitor the performance of key quality indicators and initiate, deploy and implement plans or measures to meet the goal set.
