A Day in the Life of a Project Manager in Mississauga

As a Project Manager with First Onsite, each day brings new challenges and opportunities. You'll be the point person for property owners, insurance adjusters, and contractors, ensuring every restoration project runs smoothly from start to finish. From quoting and estimating to job costing and budget management, you'll be on top of every detail, making sure our high standards for health, safety, and quality are always met.

Your role will involve overseeing various restoration claims, whether it's water damage, fire damage, or something else entirely. You'll monitor timelines, manage resources, and resolve any issues that arise with professionalism and a positive attitude. Plus, your strong industry connections will help you generate new leads and expand our business even further.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the disaster restoration industry
• Strong knowledge of Canadian building construction and relevant codes
• Proficiency with Xactimate (LEVEL 1, 2, or 3 is a must)
• Proven experience in planning and monitoring project budgets
• Valid driver's license (FULL G)
• Clean criminal record
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
• Ability to perform physical labor, including material handling, lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
