Our client, Troika Developments is a progressive, future-focused land and real estate development company based in Kelowna, BC. They are currently seeking a Marketing Manager for a maternity leave term position. Reporting to the COO the successful candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of the marketing department. This includes strategic planning, campaign development, budget management, maintaining strong public relations, brand image and team leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the overall business objectives and drive impactful marketing initiatives for various project types, including land development, multi-family, and commercial projects. This role requires a dynamic individual who is a self-starter, passionate about real estate, and eager to drive marketing initiatives to success.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies/plans aligned with company objectives;
  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print and events;
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer behaviour, industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities;
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and ensure adherence to brand guidelines are in all marketing communications;
  • Create and manage marketing budgets effectively, allocate resources efficiently, and track campaign performance to optimize ROI;
  • Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the Marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture;
  • Work closely with Sales, Leasing, Property Management, Development and other departments and affiliated companies, to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business goals;
  • Organize promotional activities for current and new projects, as well as office events;
  • Oversee digital marketing strategies, including website optimization, SEO, social media, blog writing, content development and email marketing;
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance metrics, generate reports, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization;
  • Build and manage strong relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to support marketing initiatives as needed;
  • Plan and execute events, email campaigns, media assets, photography, and social media strategies to ensure successful promotion and engagement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, or Writing will also be considered;
  • 1-5 years' experience as a Marketing Manager with a track record of successful marketing campaigns and team management in Real Estate Sales, Leasing, or Property Management;
  • Proficient in latest digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics/Ads, Meta Ads Manager, HubSpot CRM, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and marketing automation systems;
  • Experience in editing and updating WordPress websites;
  • Must be able to travel to company projects as required.
This position is a maternity leave position with an expected duration of approximately 14-16 months. This exciting opportunity comes with an excellent total compensation package including extended health, dental, RRSP matching (eligible employees) as well as tuition reimbursement, training and mentorship programs.
