About the team
Dialpad's Plugins team plays an essential role in supporting custom integrations, internal stakeholders and 3rd party developers. This team collaborates closely with all internal product development teams, Dialpad customers, and strategic partners to constantly improve the developer ecosystem including embedded applications, integrations, tooling, documentation and SDKs.
Your role
As a Software Engineer on the Plugins team, you'll primarily own building and supporting embeddable applications both within Dialpad & external products. You'll work closely with engineering teammates, product leaders, business leaders and external partner leaders and engineers to facilitate integrations and collaboration between multiple 3rd party systems.
This position reports to our Senior Engineering Manager, and offers the opportunity to be based in our Vancouver Office. It is also open in our Buenos Aires, Argentina office.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain SDKs & embeddable applications especially the Dialpad CTI.
- Work closely with our internal Integrations team to facilitate more efficient building & maintenance of integrations.
- Partner with our Developer Platform team assisting with the management & deployment of 3rd party built applications.
- Proactively collaborate with key stakeholders in multiple geographies in particular North America, Europe, India & Latin America.
- Tech Stack: Python, Vue.js, Redis, Terraform, Google Cloud.
What we're looking for (not requirements, just guidelines)
- Ideally at least 4 years professional experience.
- Technical proficiency with a modern Backend & Frontend programming language (bonus for Python & Vue).
- Collaborative & team player but also able to work independently & autonomously.
- Good technical communication skills.
- Pragmatic approach to solving problems whilst balancing business goals.
- Experience working on APIs, SDKs & integrations beneficial.
