Job Overview:
We are looking for an accomplished and dynamic Financial Controller to lead our client's accounting team near Kensington, PE. This role demands a professional with strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with management. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our client's organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly financial and operational reports.

  • Implement and maintain robust internal control policies and procedures.

  • Supervise daily accounting activities and manage inventory processes.

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end reporting, including journal entries, invoicing, and reconciliations.

  • Provide financial data and reports to manufacturers as required.

  • Collaborate with management on balance sheet management, inventory control, and expense analysis.

  • Monitor cash flow, receivables, and financing arrangements.

  • Ensure compliance with standard accounting policies and regulations.

  • Support year-end audit processes and manage additional accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.

  • At least 3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and financial management software.

  • Strategic thinker with advanced analytical skills.

  • Proven leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
