Job Overview:
We are looking for an accomplished and dynamic Financial Controller to lead our client's accounting team near Kensington, PE. This role demands a professional with strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with management. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our client's organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation of monthly financial and operational reports.
Implement and maintain robust internal control policies and procedures.
Supervise daily accounting activities and manage inventory processes.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end reporting, including journal entries, invoicing, and reconciliations.
Provide financial data and reports to manufacturers as required.
Collaborate with management on balance sheet management, inventory control, and expense analysis.
Monitor cash flow, receivables, and financing arrangements.
Ensure compliance with standard accounting policies and regulations.
Support year-end audit processes and manage additional accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
At least 3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and financial management software.
