A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT MANAGER IN KITCHENER - GUELPH

As a Project Manager at First Onsite, every day is a new adventure. You're the go-to person for property owners, adjusters, and insurance companies alike. They trust you to lead the way, answering their questions and making sure every detail is handled with care. You'll be quoting, job costing, and estimating like a pro, ensuring that every project runs smoothly and meets our FIRST in class health, safety and quality standards.

You'll keep a close eye on progress, ensuring that all timelines are met and everything aligns with our policies and guidelines. From water damage to fire damage, you'll handle a variety of restoration claims for residential and commercial properties. And when challenges arise, you'll tackle them head-on with a positive attitude and a smile, resolving disputes and complaints like a true professional.

Your strong relationships with clients and industry players will help you generate new leads, and your expertise in disaster property restoration will set you apart. If you've got a knack for estimating and a love for the sales side of things, you'll thrive in this branch and in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the restoration industry
• Strong knowledge of Canadian building construction and relevant codes
• Proficiency with Xactimate - LEVEL 1, 2 or 3 IS A MUST
• Proven experience in planning and monitoring project budgets
• Valid driver's license - FULL G
• Clean criminal record
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
• Ability to perform physical labor, including material handling, lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
