As a Benefits Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in the organization's success. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Client Application Processing: Efficiently processing client applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant requirements.
- Document Management: Submitting crucial documents to various head offices, follow up for completion and implementation, and maintain accurate records.
- Data Entry and Note-Taking: Handling phone calls, emails, client interactions, and entering comprehensive notes into the CRM for future reference.
- Presentation Support: Preparing summaries and presentations to assist our team in client and prospect meetings.
- Supporting Colleagues: Covering the other assistants' desks during vacation times and providing seamless assistance as needed.
- Client Interaction: Communicating with clients and prospects professionally, even in challenging situations.
Requirements:
- LLQP Certification or willingness to complete
- Group benefits / group retirement admin experience is an asset
- Exhibit exceptional attention to detail with a keen eye for accuracy and precision
- A willingness to learn and adapt to our processes and systems
- A positive attitude, excellent phone manners, and the ability to remain polite and composed
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and able to learn varying systems
- Clean Criminal Record Check.
