We are looking for an experience Sign Spray Painter. This role would include but not limited to color matching, formulating colors, mixing paint to proper ratios, etc. We are looking for an individual who has experience with spray painting within the sign, automotive, or aircraft industry.

This is a full-time position based in Pickering, 40 hours per week working Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Color matching , formulating colors
• Mixing paint to proper ratios to make ready to spray for priming and painting
• Trouble shooting of equipment
• Daily/ Weekly maintenance of spray equipment
• Weekly maintenance of spray booths (cleaning, changing filters)
• Ordering and keeping stock of paint
• Practice safe handling of all painted products
• Wear all appropriate gear required for mixing and painting (safety glasses, paint suit, gloves and respirator or fresh air system that is supplied)
• Follow all rules and regulations required for paint handling and storing
• Ability to give directions to preppers in daily operations in loading and unloading the booths

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience using a spray paint gun in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Self-motivated.
• Works well in a team and independently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• May be required to stand for long periods of time.
• May involve some repetitive motions.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers.
• Others as deemed required by company to be safe for your role.
