Job Description: Turnaround NCSO - Health and Safety Advisor (Camp)

Position: Turnaround NCSO - HSE Person (Camp)
Location: Northern BC Gas Plant
Rate: Starting at $40 per hour
Shifts: 12-hour shifts
Duration: August 26 to September 30
Onboarding: Two weeks of pre-job onboarding provided
Accommodation: Camp will be provided

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Turnaround NCSO - HSE Person with significant experience in gas plant shutdowns. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety and compliance during the turnaround process, working on-site in a camp environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance during the gas plant shutdown.
  • Conduct safety meetings, risk assessments, and safety audits.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide HSE training and onboarding for new hires.
  • Monitor work activities and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
  • NCSO certification required.
  • Proven experience in HSE roles, specifically with gas plant shutdowns.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a camp setting.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
