As the Logistics Coordinator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supply Chain Coordination: Manage and coordinate logistics operations, including transportation and distribution of goods for our customers.
- Carrier Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key carriers and clients to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensuring accurate and timely completion of shipping documentation and adherence to industry regulations and standards.
- Equipment Utilization: Ability to utilize equipment out in the field as this position will be dealing with the Service industry side of the Oil and Gas Production.
- Problem Resolution: Act as the escalation point for logistics-related issues including coordination with your team to implement effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize systems to monitor and report on logistics performance metrics while identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
On your resume, we ask that you outline the following qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience in logistics coordination within the oil & gas industry, with a track record of optimizing supply chain processes
- A strong knowledge of the Service side of the Oil and Gas industry, including Drilling Rigs, Service Rigs, Frac and Flowback.
- Proficiency in logistics-related CRM systems and Google Sheets
- We would prefer that candidates be local to the Fort St John/Grande Prairie Region
