The Opportunity
We're seeking a seasoned Sales Leader, a Business Development Sales Manager, to join our leadership team. You'll play a pivotal role in crafting and executing strategic sales plans that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and significant revenue growth.
You'll be responsible for:
- Spearheading Strategic Sales: Develop, implement, and refine sales plans to attract new customers, retain existing ones, and achieve ambitious sales goals.
- Leading the Sales Charge: Mentor, coach, and empower your sales team to become high achievers, consistently exceeding individual and team targets.
- Identifying New Horizons: Actively seek out new market opportunities, products, and partnerships that align with KGI's strategic objectives. Collaborate with the leadership team to evaluate these opportunities.
- Building Strong Relationships: Cultivate and manage relationships with key accounts, fostering loyalty and driving up revenue.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, using insights to optimize strategies for continued success
- Budget Management: Own and manage the Sales budget(s), ensuring efficient and effective allocation of resources.
- Brand Champion: Ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging across all sales communications.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze sales campaigns, glean valuable insights, and adapt strategies for maximum effectiveness.
- Industry Visibility: Represent us at industry events and tradeshows to boost brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
- Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure seamless alignment between sales and marketing efforts.
Who You Are
- A seasoned sales leader with a minimum of 5 years of proven success in exceeding sales targets.
- A track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- A strategic thinker with a keen understanding of project management and organizational skills.
- An experienced leader with a strong motivational presence and exceptional communication skills.
- A self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
- Adept in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of CRM systems (Pipedrive) a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
