JOB OVERVIEW
A Millwright is responsible for working with heavy machinery to ensure they are installed and maintained properly. Going to customers facilities and upholding the company's image/brand in a respectable and professional demeanour. We are looking for someone that is eager to continue their career in Millwrighting, that is results-oriented, professional and an out-of-the-box thinker.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Maintenance of existing installations and infrastructure
§ Improvement of mechanical systems
§ Fabricate items as needed
§ Troubleshoot and resolve production equipment breakdowns
§ New equipment installations and commissioning
§ Continuous improvement, equipment modifications and retrofitting
§ Must complete and maintain records for work and purchase order tracking
§ Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks as required
§ Develop and execute predictive maintenance plan
§ Follow safe work practices and health and safety policies
§ In accordance with company policy/ESA; overtime, work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the company
§ All other duties as assigned
Requirements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
§ Minimum 5 years of Millwright experience
§ Previous experience in Agriculture/Aggregates industry would be considered an asset
§ Must be proficient with welding
§ Must have valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract
§ You have a get it done attitude and are skilled at removing barriers
§ You operate with a team spirit, not with ego; you want everyone, including yourself, to do their best work; you see your success as dependent on the success of the team
§ You have the ability to think beyond the needs of the customer to point out errors and potential issues
§ You are able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, cope effectively with complexity and change, quickly understand and absorb new information and respond appropriately
§ You are a straight shooter who gets to the point and can clearly communicate in both oral and written form.
