On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking skilled Underground Pipelayers with experience in underground utilities construction to join a reputable team in Edmonton and Leduc, Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an industry leader committed to innovative solutions and technological advancement.What You Do:

• Train, mentor, and motivate junior crew members.
• Carry out site foreman's directives safely throughout daily operation.
• Install various sizes and materials of pipe.
• Work safely in deep trenches.
• Safely operate around excavation equipment including excavators, loaders, and packers
• Cut pipes to required lengths.
• Check slopes for conformance to requirements using levels or lasers.
• Dig trenches to desired or required depths by hand or using trenching tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with Alberta OH&S guidelines and company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.

Who You Are:

• 3-5 years working as a Pipelayer in the Deep Underground Utility Installation industry.
• Thorough knowledge of pipe lasers and transit use (leveled, grade, proper working order).
• Ability to read blueprints and city specifications.
• Ability to read and understand locates.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
