Resource Profile

• The client is looking for an Azure Public Cloud Lead with 5+ years of Azure design and migration experience to join the Information Technology Cluster (ITC), Infrastructure Technology Solution Services department.
  

Resource Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal/eternal stakes holders and client governance committees to ensure deliverables and dependencies are successfully delivered
  
• Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to design Azure public cloud infrastructure.
  
• Manage all phases of the Azure Public Cloud including discovery, planning, design, execution and decommissioning.
  
• Creation of standard sized and automated infrastructure service catalog offerings to reduce the footprint of custom solutions.
  
• Work with a sense of urgency and demonstrate leadership skills to achieve high performance and excellent service.
  

Knowledge & Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing and introducing Azure Public Cloud technologies as a subject matter expert:
  

• Azure Infrastructure
  
• Azure Networking & IP Management
  
• Azure Kubernetes Service
  
• Proven and demonstrated experience on designing enterprise grade Azure Public Cloud infrastructure.
  
• Proven and demonstrated experience on designing data center solutions including private cloud and managed hosting.
  
• Proven and demonstrated experience in managing outsourced IT Infrastructure service providers on complex build and networking integration projects.
  
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts.
  
• Excellent project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Superior written and oral communication skills (will present various project documentation including business cases, briefing notes, action plans, executive summaries, technical reports etc.).
  
• Professional interpersonal skills including negotiation, consulting, and customer-service.
  

• 5+ years of experience managing and introducing Azure Cloud technologies as a subject matter expert.
  
• Prior experience managing 2 of the following infrastructure platforms (Windows, Linux, UNIX, Mainframe).
  
• Proven and demonstrated experience on designing enterprise grade public cloud infrastructure from on Microsoft Azure.
  
• Proven and demonstrated experience on designing data center Solutioning including VMware private cloud and managed hosting.
  
• Excellent project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Strong business acumen and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
