The Opportunity:
We're looking for a Credit Officer to join our Operations team.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Credit the Credit Officer will be instrumental in ensuring that requirements of the regulators are satisfied by enforcing efficient/effective monitor and control on retail credit for our IIROC full brokerage platform.

What your day looks like:
- Review and authorize cheques, EFTs and wires based on risk management and AML regulations
- Daily monitoring of credit, registered debits and margin accounts based on firm policy
- Review and approve internal/external transfers which have credit related ramifications
- Monitor daily security concentration levels
- Assist in capital and credit reporting
- Complete other assigned projects
Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- Post secondary degree
- Completion of CSC is an asset
- A minimum of 2 years of credit experience with the securities industry
- Extremely detail oriented and accurate
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast paced environment
- Flexible to meet changing needs and manage deadlines
- Customer focused, ability to build and maintain relationship
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary
This position is posted with an expected salary range of $52,000 - $63,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
