Overview:

This Role requires a highly organized and detailed-oriented individual who will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our corporate services cleaning department. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to details, and the ability to multitask effectively.

The Role:

As a result of continued robust growth, we are seeking a result orientated, energetic individual to join our Corporate Service Cleaner in St. George, NB.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sweep, mop, wash, wax, and polish floors.
  • Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Attend to request extra supplies.
  • Stock linen closets, and other supplies areas.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Report and store lost and found items.
  • May provide basic information on facilities and handle complaints

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.

Safety:

  • Adhere to Company safety policies and standard operating procedures to ensure personal and team safety.
  • Immediately report any incidents, injury, or damage to property to your supervisor/manager.
  • Bring any safety issues to the immediate attention of your supervisor/manager.

Working Conditions:

  • Indoor environment: offices, lunchrooms, meeting rooms, washrooms.
  • Normal business hours of Monday - Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Use of cleaning supplies and tools to perform housekeeping duties.
