THE ROLE

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Certified Industrial Electrician will oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of all electrical systems in a progressive environment open to change and innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for troubleshooting problems with various types of equipment including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and robotic systems.
• Diagnose the root cause of issues for machinery, systems and processes
• Test machinery/equipment to ensure proper implementation and functions
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics.
• Install wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and other maintenance staff.
• Replace or repair faulty wiring and electrical components.
• Program and maintain PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.
• Test electrical systems for continuity, voltage, and resistance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 309A, 442A preferred Electrician License
• 5-10 years experience
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment will be a strong asset
