NAPSteel seeks an experienced and motivated Local Class 1 Truck Driver to join our dynamic team based in our Surrey location. We seek a team member experienced with flat beds, step decks, and B trains.

In this role, you can expand your skill set and knowledge through various administrative and accounting tasks, including collection calls, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other duties as required.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to fill out standard drivers' daily logbooks
• Completing paperwork for incoming/outgoing materials
• Conduct pre-trip inspections
• Shipping/receiving, loading/unloading trucks
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations within your job function
• Ensure product integrity during transit
• Clean and maintain your company vehicle
• Represent NAPSteel well to our customers
• Effectively problem-solve any day-to-day issues
• Communicate with stakeholders and team members in a professional manner
• Daily trips only - No overnight trips

Skills:

• Class 1 license with Air Brake certification
• Provide a clean driver abstract
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work independently and as a team
• Strong decision-making & problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership skills
• Attention to detail and basic computer skills.
• 3 or more years of experience
