Arcadis Calgary office is looking for an Intern Architect/Designer to join its award winning Living+ Studio. You will be working on exciting Mixed-Use/Multi-Family Residential high-rise buildings. Your extensive experience with Multi-Family Residential/Mixed-Use Project, attention to detail and proficiency on Revit will help you succeed in the role. Candidates must have an undergraduate or graduate level degree in architecture from an accredited university, able to legally work in Canada, and be registered or eligible for professional registration with the Alberta Association of Architects. The successful candidate is a competent professional who is able to work both independently and as part of a team

Role accountabilities:
- Design Phases including concept design and presentation drawings and renderings
- Design development and documentation for the purposes of obtaining development and building permits
- Preparing drawings for tender, drawing detailing, construction documentation through to issued for construction documents
- Coordinating and managing project team members including outside consultants
- Construction contract administration/construction site reviews
- Work on multiple projects at the same time
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in an architectural firm with a focus on Revit based projects
- Master's in Architecture
- Registered or eligible for professional registration with the Alberta Association of Architects
- 3D Rendering skills in Enscape/Lumion
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Strong Revit experience
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Self-motivated, well organized, with a demonstrated passion for design excellence
