About the Opportunity

UJA Federation is looking for an experienced, passionate, and creative Social Media Manager to join our digital team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing UJA's organic and paid Social Media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and fundraising efforts.

Reports to: Associate Director, Digital Marketing

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage UJA Federation's social media strategy
  • Create and oversee social media content and execution
  • Support the development and maintenance of a contact strategy to ensure all UJA business units are represented appropriately across our social platforms
  • Create results reporting and share insights for all UJA's social media channels
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Work with copywriters, designers, and marketing partners to align on strategy and content that support UJA's organizational goals
  • Retain the strong network and cooperation with other community organizations
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours to attend events and deal with emergency situations as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a social media role
  • Experience as a Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
  • Strong content creator (using Adobe Photoshop and Canva)
  • Strong collaborator and communicator
  • The ability to implement a multi-channel approach (curating each social platform with appropriate content)
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X and TikTok
  • Strong technical skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

* This is a permanent full-time opportunity, Union Level G. At UJA we support a flexible work schedule and all of our employees engage in hybrid work.
