Drake International is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading company in the construction and maintenance industry. We are looking for skilled painters to join our client's team in Edmonton. What You Will Do:
Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
Repair cracks and holes in surfaces.
Mix paint to achieve desired colors and textures.
Erect scaffolding, swing stages, and attach rigging for painting projects.
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
Utilize various painting techniques, including conventional spray painting, multi-ratio pump spraying, thermal spray equipment, and roller painting.
Specialize in coating applications such as aggregate painting, fiberglassing, fire retardants, surface gilding, gas proofing materials, urethanes, metallized coatings, powdered coatings, dipping, lead-based removal, and encapsulation.
Ensure high-quality finishes and durability of painted surfaces.
What You Bring:
1 to 2 years of relevant experience in painting.
Ability to work at heights and in environments with odors.
Experience with equipment and machinery such as brushes, conventional spray painting, multi-ratio pump spraying, roller painting, and thermal spray equipment.
Physically demanding work capability.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce quality work.
Willingness to adhere to safety standards and regulations.
