Job Title: Integration ArchitectJob ID: SC696878517Location: Calgary, ABOverview:One of our most respected clients within the Energy Industry is looking for an Integrations Architect to join their team in downtown Calgary on an initial 6-month contract basis. Our client's Infrastructure Services group is responsible for providing core IT services that form the backbone of IT capabilities, including database, middleware, servers, storage and datacenter for the organization. The successful candidate will form a crucial part of the ongoing Integrations support team, and it is critical that the successful candidate will be able to operate effectively in a mixed operations and project delivery environment, sat equidistant between IT Operations and Vendors. Our client's intent is that the Integrations Services group will not remain static any more than our industry is remaining static: they are seeking individuals who are willing to learn new technologies, new ways of working and who have the approach and determination to evolve with them through the changing technologies ahead. Reporting to the IT Manager – Database and Middleware, you will be responsible for day-to-day support and maintenance of in-scope Middleware platforms. What you will be doing:

• Proactive monitoring of system health
• Monitoring task queues
• Responding to support tickets
• Responding to request tickets
• Following established policies and procedures including security, incident and change management policies
• Providing after hours support and on-call duties as required
• Maintaining operational & project documentation
• Performing patching & upgrades of middleware platforms
• Backing up and recovering (including Disaster Recovery) Middleware platforms
• Providing guidance on best practices and acting as platform steward
• Working with vendor support on issues as required
• Troubleshooting performance issues as required
• Working closely with Application Stewards and other IT teams to ensure operational SLAs are being met
• Working closely with the Enterprise Information Management team to ensure their Middleware platform requirements are being met
• Participating in Middleware project delivery work when necessary (provisioning/decommissioning, migrations/upgrades, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Providing guidance and assistance to self-serve users

What you must have:

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
• A minimum of 5 years' experience working in relevant disciplines within infrastructure services teams
• Experience supporting at least 3 of the following Middleware platforms:
• Informatica PowerCenter
• Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
• Informatica Axon Data Governance
• Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC)
• Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
• Denodo (Data Virtualization) Platform
• TIBCO Spotfire
• Automic UC4
• SAP Business Objects
• Oracle Golden Gate
• Application Performance tools such as ManageEngine Applications Manager
• Experience with Azure middleware technologies an asset (Azure Data Factory, LogicApps, etc.)
• Certifications in these technology product sets will be considered an asset
• Familiar with ITIL processes and best practices
• Ability to work with multiple teams and/or service providers in a collaborative manner
• Ability to adapt to technology changes and thrives on learning new technologies
• Flexibility to be on-call after hours for critical incidents
