Our client is seeking for a Project Engineer with a knowledge of industrial reliability. This position is responsible for the management and delivery of multiple projects.
Responsibilities:

• This role will assist in the Recovery Area including one black liquor recovery boiler along with a black liquor evaporating system and associated auxiliary equipment as required.
• Provide effective leadership for Shift Engineers and operating crews by establishing and managing systems to track operating centerlines and targets.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requirements for shut downs and daily work.
• Establish and communicate effectively Standard Operating Procedures and ensure operator training requirements are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Science of Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer with APEGA.
• Previous experience with conceptual design, front-end and detailed engineering of process piping.
• Knowledge of ASME piping codes, B31.1 and B31.3 and Boiler Pressure Vessel codes.
• Familiar with Alberta Boilers Branch standards and design registration process.
• Experience using AutoCAD, SAP
