GAL AeroStaff., which provides specialized staffing and recruiting services in the Business & Commercial aircraft industry, is presently seeking Licensed Aircraft Mechanics Technician to work on ERJ 170-190 endorsement, 737 NG, Max endorsements for a client based out of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Main Duties:

  • Troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures
  • Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems
  • Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems
  • Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble
  • Perform and document routine maintenance
  • Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet TCCA and company standards of performance and safety
  • Inspect work of aircraft mechanics performing maintenance, repair and overhaul, or modification of aircraft and aircraft mechanical systems to ensure adherence to standards and procedures
  • Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work overtime, any shift, and weekends as required.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background, drug, & medical screening, subject to TCCA requirements and random substance abuse screening.
  • Must have requisite basic tools prior to starting to work; tool list will be provided. Tools must be shadowed and engraved.
  • Must have a technical college degree in aerospace or equivalent.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Must have an M2 licences
  • Must have experience on ERJ 170-190 endorsement or 737 NG or Max endorsements.
