International Point of Care, Inc. (IPOC) develops, manufactures, and supplies unique Point of Care rapid tests, biological reagents, and raw materials for the in-vitro diagnostic industry.

Position Summary:

As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing GMP-compliant manufacturing processes, optimizing efficiency, ensuring quality, ensuring quality, and managing a talented team. This role requires hands-on experience with ERP systems, strong inventory management skills, and the ability to lead in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work closely with the Departmental Director and will be actively involved in managing the production of Lyophilized beads reagents and medical devices including RUO products.

Major Responsibilities:

  • GMP Manufacturing Oversight:
  1. Lead and supervise all LBR manufacturing operations (formulation, dispensing, packaging, and equipment usage) and ensure strict adherence to GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Implement and maintain best practices to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve manufacturing processes.
  • ERP Systems and Inventory Management:
  1. Utilize ERP systems to manage production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory levels effectively.
  2. Implement strategies to minimize production delays and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and implement efficient control measures.
  • Analytics and Performance Metrics:
  1. Develop and implement KPIs to measure manufacturing efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
  2. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  3. Regularly report on manufacturing metrics to senior management.
  • People Management:
  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team.
  2. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  3. Conduct regular performance reviews and address training needs.
  • Quality Assurance:
  1. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  2. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Investigate and resolve any deviations from established quality protocols.
  • Customer Relations:
  1. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
  2. Collaborate with business development teams to understand customer needs and expectations.
  3. Ensure a customer-focused approach in manufacturing operations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years' supervisory/ managerial experience in a GMP Manufacturing environment, preferably in diagnostic solutions, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, or related industries.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and proficiency in inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership and People management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
