Reporting to the Manager, Customer Supply Chain, the Customer Supply Chain Specialist will act as a key liaison with the customer and sales departments to develop professional, long-term relationships through accurate and timely order management, process improvement and short and long term problem resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process, audit and manage customer orders in JDE (including availability, compliance and timeliness)
  • Follow-up on all stock shortages, order shipping, customer specific requirements (i.e. ticketing and labeling) and miscellaneous issues that relate to the accurate and timely shipment of all orders.
  • Be the point of contact with customers to answer questions/resolve discrepancies regarding stock, availability, shortages, timing of shipments and company policies regarding minimum order size, back orders etc.
  • Complete month end reporting and month end closing activities on a timely basis
  • Case Fill reporting on a monthly basis
  • Make and implement recommendations to optimize current policies and procedures
  • Assist with audit and clearing of customer non-compliance charges for assigned customers
  • Process OS&D deductions for assigned customer portfolio and provide insights/learnings to Customer Supply Chain Manager
  • Monitor open orders to ensure they are being processed in a timely manner from receipt to customer
  • Update customers on order shorts and delay to minimize the impact to On Time and Case Fill (mitigating customer fines)
  • Create monthly customer scorecard.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual English/French (asset)
  • 3-4 years previous experience in customer service and order management in an MRP environment – JDE or SAP preferred
  • Supply chain and EDI experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and order entry system.
  • Analytical skills
  • Presentation skills (asset)
  • Post-secondary education required
  • Excellent problem solving, prioritization, & organization skills with the ability to manage multiple competing projects.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, French as an asset
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to work collaboratively to solve problems and resolve issues
