The Reporting Analyst, Sales Operations will be reporting to Director, Sales Operations. This role is responsible for developing, analyzing, and interpreting data to deliver enhanced client campaign POP reports to internal and external clients. In addition, acting as a key part of the team's business intelligence function, this role will provide insights through data analysis and visualization to internal teams. Other duties include acquiring and validating data, building and maintaining various reports, developing tools and data visualizations, and ensuring accurate output to effectively communicate key metrics and trends to internal teams.
This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office per week). Office location is 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto.
Key Responsibilities
Media Campaign Reporting & Insights
- Facilitate and deliver a comprehensive suite of media campaign reports, including pacing reports, post-campaign reports, finance reporting, and specialized client requests.
- Develop insights from campaign performance data to help clients optimize media investments and improve sales outcomes.
- Ensure reports are accurate, well-structured, and meet Cineplex's reporting standards, incorporating the best tools.
Tools & Process Optimization
- Develop, evaluate, refine, and implement new processes and tools that enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the internal teams and external partners to maintain and enhance data acquisition processes. Ensuring data integrity and delivery in timely manner.
- Resolve all data-related challenges for Media reporting and insights.
- Help maintain and refine attendance models to improve forecasting accuracy.
Photo Management & Reporting
- Organize and maintain an archive of all campaign-related photos, including in-market, creative, and cinema photos.
- Apply and enforce metadata tagging standards to ensure proper categorization and accessibility.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to acquire photos in a timely manner, maintaining strong relationships with field managers.
- Ensure all photo-related reporting needs are met for client campaigns.
Data Acquisition & Management
- Establish and manage relationships with cinema chains and external partners to secure attendance data.
- Ensure attendance data is properly integrated into reporting workflows.
Training & Mentorship
- Train and mentor coordinators, promoting self-sufficiency in reporting tasks.
- Supervise reporting activities to ensure strict compliance to the current standards.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Data Analytics Certificate – CAP, aCAP, GDAPC
- PL-300 Certification
Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, or data analysis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced Excel skills – must be able to process complex calculations in Excel using various functions, Visual Basic scripts, Macros, etc.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Familiarity with SQL, Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
