What you will do:

The responsibilities of the Reception and National Facilities Administrator is to be the first point of contact with Cineplex in person, by phone or email, provide home office support by monitoring surveillance cameras and administer the card access system for employees and guests.

The other aspect of this role entails supporting National Facilities in an administrative role and running small facilities projects that will require direct correspondence and communication with the field and 3rd party vendors.

You must be in the office 5 days a week (Monday to Friday). Office location is 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive guests entering the building, providing assistance as well as signing them in. Answer and transfer calls

  • Monitor Security Cameras and alert Facilities as needed

  • Building Access Card Administration

  • Respond and follow up to email correspondence

  • Provide National Facilities Administrative Support

Education & Certification

  • College degree in facilities management or similar is preferred but not required

Experience

  • 2 years in building maintenance/facilities services

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excel

  • Word

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of building systems, HVAC/Fire Alarm/plumbing/electrical/etc. is preferred
