As an integral member of the Finance team, the Financial Reporting & Data Analyst extracts, compiles, and prepares financial data from multiple sources, delivering accurate, actionable insights that drive operational success, optimize business functions, and support strategic, data-driven decision-making across the company.

Job Summary:
Creates and maintains recurring accounting reports using provided business requirements for Accounting to ensure revenue is being reported accurately.:
- Filters and "cleans" data by reviewing existing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
- Develops reports, data dashboards, and visualizations based on the analysis and instructs end users on how to interpret the reports or dashboards generated.
- Corrects coding and performance errors and other data-related problems.
- Creates temporary or experimental data pipelines using tools such as Snowflake or Alteryx to extract and process data for creating the reports.
- Monitors customer relationship management system (e.g., Perfect Gym) transactions to provide and advise on billing/member account issues in order to minimize the negative reputation and financial impact to the company.
Conducts Ad-hoc and cyclical data analysis to answer complex business questions or make inferential predictions for key stakeholders.:
- Extracts and interprets patterns, trends, and key business drivers from large disparate data sources to provide clarity and insight of opportunities for company growth.
- Monitors financial data based on trend analysis and past performance to provide proactive reporting to business stakeholders in order to minimize member and company financial impact.
- Uses appropriate statistical techniques to accurately answer business questions.
Presents data-analyzed patterns, trends, key business drivers from large disparate data sources, and observations to provide clarity and insight into opportunities for company growth and highlight potential risks to support strategic decision-making.:
- Communicates findings and assumptions in a way that is easy to understand.
- Supports, guides and answers inquiries for financial data-related matters and concerns.
- Considers different points of view and evaluates them based on facts.
Prepares, provides, and analyzes Fit4Less data based on required industry standard reporting practices in order to maintain financial compliance and timeliness of reporting.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's Degree in Sciences, Math, Statistics or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience working in a quantitative analytical field, particularly preferred with the specification in Financial Reporting area
- Advanced analytical abilities, including statistical analysis.
- Intermediate knowledge of data manipulation and visualization tools such as SQL, R, Python, Alteryx, Tableau.
- Intermediate problem-solving abilities
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills and a strong sense of visual design
- Curious, self-motivated and able to work productively on multiple projects
- Must have a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Advanced soft skills for working with other people
