Working directly with the Entertainment Manager, the Entertainment Supervisor communicate programing schedules, collect, document and share data, resolve scheduling conflicts with operations and entertainment team, coordinate promotion of events and ensure venues are fully informed about the details of upcoming events.

Entertainment supervisors will build relationships and maximize opportunities with internal stakeholders, external customers, coordinate recurring events, collect feedback, update documents with current information daily and document data collected internally. This position spends much of their time communicating with promoters, talent, and buyers to coordinate effective communication with venue operations teams and AV technicians. Post event supervisors collect and document feedback and data for the entertainment files.

This position will work closely with operations teams in venue and Entertainment team to maximize efficiencies and revenue opportunities through attendance, guest experience for internal and external customers and overall impact and profitability.

This position requires the candidate to attend and support local entertainment activations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicates entertainment logistics with key stakeholders.
  • This role works closely with bookers, talent, promoters, operations teams, entertainment leaders and AV techs and in venue operations.
  • Provide pre-event updates for ticketed events.
  • Document post event reports and share feedback as needed
  • Participate in pre and post meetings as needed to coordinate bookings
  • Collect assets and support promotion of events TRR.com
  • Ticketing support which can include ticket creation and updates on sales
  • This role is based out of venue. Candidates support weekly event activations and prioritize event logistics communications to a variety of venues they support.

Education & Certification

  • Education in the arts, media and entertainment management.
  • Education or experience in music, AV entertainment, music festival management, or event field an asset.

Experience

  • Experience in the music and entertainment industry an asset.
  • Experience with AV technology an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, detail oriented, flexible, strong organizational and follow up skills, ability to communicate progress reports, collect and document data post event.

Working Conditions & Effort

  • Will work some nights and weekends when supporting activations and events
  • Remote role, will work in venue to support events as needed
