About the Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial health and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Key Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements

• Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts

Requirements

• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
• Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a bookkeeping or accounting role
