Key Responsibilities

As a Drywall Installer, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects. Your tasks will include:

• Reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements

• Fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids and placing panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
• Finishing corners and angles and creating decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
• Measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing drywall sheets
• Smoothing out excess compound and allowing coats to dry
• Taping over joints using a taping machine and embedding tape in compound
• Estimating costs and materials for projects

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in drywall installation
