Key Responsibilities

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring smooth and safe transportation.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• Handle payments for goods, ensuring accurate transactions.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to keep the vehicle in top condition.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch for efficient operations.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
