Key Responsibilities

As a Concrete Finisher, your expertise will be essential in the following tasks:

• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete effectively.
• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
• Work at heights, utilizing scaffolding or swing stages safely.
• Instruct apprentices, sharing your knowledge and skills with the next generation.
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures with precision.
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces properly.
• Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to maintain their integrity.
• Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
• Estimate costs and materials for projects accurately.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Experience
