Key Responsibilities

  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention as needed.

  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain program statistics for evaluation and research purposes.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
  • Manage events and offer mentoring to clients.

Work Environment

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a community service organization.
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week

Supervision

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 11-15 people, including support staff and volunteers.

Certifications

Preferred certifications include:

  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
