Key Responsibilities

As a Drywall Finisher, you will:

• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a flawless finish.
• Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion and appearance.
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
• Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat as required.
• Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets with precision.
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry properly.
• Utilize a taping machine to tape over joints and embed tape in compound.
• Work at heights, utilizing scaffolding or swing stages safely.

Requirements

Education

Experience
