Key Responsibilities

• Plan and adjust routes using GPS and other navigation devices to optimize fuel consumption and reduce carbon emissions.
• Provide outstanding customer service while driving as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Obtain necessary permits and documentation for international cargo transport.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with central dispatch and record essential information such as cargo details, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
